Sinsa Mansell

Sinsa is a proud Tasmanian Aboriginal woman from larapuna in the Northern region of lutruwita Tasmania. She is a program producer and project officer who takes great pride in being a co-founder, performer and choreographer with pakana kanaplila, a Traditional/Contemporary Tasmanian Aboriginal dance troupe.

Sinsa has worked throughout Tasmania as well as nationally and internationally, and has been at the forefront of reclaiming ancient cultural Traditions. Through workshops, Sinsa’s art forms assist to create greater awareness of the rich cultural heritage and living ancient Traditional practices of her ancestors by keeping to Traditional Tasmanian Aboriginal culture. She is committed to opening opportunities for the broader community to engage with the local First Nations peoples.
